“Victims Waiting for Justice” is a poignant short film produced by the Ma’rib Dam Foundation, a key member of the Justice for Yemen coalition, in observance of the #International_Day_Awareness_of_the_Danger_of_Mines. The film provides a platform for the voices of three survivors of mine and explosive device explosions in Ma’rib Governorate, offering a deeply personal glimpse into the human toll of the ongoing conflict. These testimonies represent just a small portion of the approximately 350 individuals who have fallen victim to mines from the onset of the conflict until the close of 2023, as reported by the Executive Unit for the Displaced. The film serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need for justice and comprehensive mine clearance efforts in Yemen.
