Amid ongoing war and division in Yemen, transitional justice remains a crucial path toward just peace and rebuilding trust within society. In this episode of the podcast we host Basem Al-Haj, First Secretary of the Yemeni Socialist Party in Taiz, for an open conversation about the concept of transitional justice, its importance in addressing the legacy of violations and violence, and the political and social challenges that hinder its implementation on the ground. The discussion also highlights the vital role of youth and civil society in promoting genuine reconciliation that honors victims and builds a more stable and just future. This podcast is produced under the SPARK Project, implemented by DT Institute in partnership with SAM for Rights and Liberties (SAM) and the Abductees’ Mothers Association (AMA).
