On the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, Justice4Yemen Pact Coalition renews its commitment to unveiling the truth about the systematic use of sexual violence in Yemen. Amidst the ongoing war and the collapse of legal systems, millions of Yemeni women and girls remain at risk. Disturbingly, sexual violence is used not only as a tool of repression but as a weapon of war—especially against marginalized and minority groups. Survivors face stigma, lack of support, and an almost total absence of justice.
The Coalition calls on the international community to act: to investigate, to support survivors, and to prioritize sexual violence in transitional justice. We stand firm in our demand for accountability and dignity for every victim.
