On the occasion of International Human Rights Day 2025, the Justice4Yemen Pact Coalition warns that Yemen enters its eleventh year of conflict amid a deepening human rights and humanitarian crisis. Despite the decline in large-scale hostilities, violations continue across all areas of control, with women, children, journalists, and humanitarian workers among the most affected. Millions remain displaced, nearly 20 million people require humanitarian assistance, and more than 4.5 million children are out of school. The statement documents the ongoing use of arbitrary detention, enforced disappearances, torture, and unfair death sentences, stressing that the culture of impunity remains the greatest barrier to peace. The coalition reaffirms that justice, accountability, and inclusive political participation are essential to building a sustainable and dignified future for Yemen.
