The Situation of Marginalized Children in Yemen

This video presents the main outcomes and findings of an investigative report on the situation of marginalized children in Yemen in the context of ongoing conflict. The report documents how war, structural discrimination, and prolonged deprivation have severely affected children’s access to education, daily safety, and basic rights, with a particular impact on marginalized communities.

Based on field research and documented evidence, the investigation highlights systemic gaps in child protection, exclusion from public services, and the long-term consequences of conflict on childhood and social development. The findings aim to provide an evidence base to inform humanitarian responses, advocacy efforts, and policy discussions related to child protection in Yemen.

This investigative report was produced under the SAFE II project, supported by the DT Institute (DTI), in cooperation with INSAF. The video serves as a dissemination tool to communicate the report’s outcomes and support efforts to improve protection and future opportunities for marginalized children in Yemen.
