During the 60th session of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC60), under Item 10: Technical Assistance and Capacity-Building for Yemen, Yemeni human rights defender Abha Abdullah Baawedan delivered a joint statement on behalf of a Justice4Yemen Pact Coalition member, the International Service for Human Rights (ISHR), and the DT Institute.

She called on the Human Rights Council to integrate transitional justice into all discussions and resolutions related to Yemen — highlighting the importance of accountability, victims’ rights, and inclusive peacebuilding as foundations for lasting peace
