On the International Day of Peace, the Justice4Yemen Pact Coalition urges all conflict parties in Yemen to silence their guns for 24 hours and embrace dialogue as the only path toward a dignified and prosperous future for Yemenis. After more than a decade of war, the country is suffering from a deep humanitarian crisis, collapsing infrastructure, food insecurity, and millions of children deprived of education. The Coalition strongly condemns arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, and attacks on civil society and humanitarian workers, stressing that true peace cannot be achieved without justice, accountability, and transitional justice as the foundation for reconciliation and stability. It calls on both Yemeni actors and the international community to intensify efforts to end the war, protect civilians and freedoms, and ensure that victims’ voices are central to any future peace process.
