The perpetrator of the violation
Abdelrahman Muhammad Moqbel, Abdelrahman Badi` Hammoud Hazaa al-Sufyani, and Ahmad
Mahyoub al-Khalidi.
Findings
The case was reported to the Criminal Investigation, and the aggressors were imprisoned until the
completion of the procedures.
Summary of the incident
Abdelrahman Muhammad Muqbil al-Qahtani, Abdelrahman Badi` Hammoud Hazaa al-Sufyani, and Ahmad Mahyoub Ghalib al-Khulaydi sexually assaulted the victimized juvenile, (S), by taking advantage of his young age, lack of will, and his trust in both Abdelrahman Muhammad Muqbil and Abdelrahman Badie Hammoud and exploited him and photographed him without his knowledge, after that they blackmailed him, and they had clear pictures of him, and forced him to submit to them, and each of them assaulted and raped (S)several times and in separate places, and took his photos without his knowledge and without his consent in order to continue assaulting him, and they continued to take advantage of these photos and video clips and took him by force to the shop of Ahmed Mahyoub Ghaleb Al-Khalidi, who is in Almorour roundabout, to practice independent acts against him in his place, and they obtained sums of money in exchange for bringing him to Ahmed Mahyoub Al-Khalidi, and after that they took turns on him all of them several times and in other places, which caused a bad psychological state in the child, who informed one of his neighbors that he had been raped by those people, and his neighbor took him to the Criminal Investigation Department and filed a complaint of the fact that he was raped. The defendants were summoned and imprisoned, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution Office, which issued an indictment on the incident and referred them to the court to be tried before the criminal court in the West Taiz Court.
Recommendations: follow-up of the case by the Criminal Investigation in Taiz, bring perpetrators to trial, impose the maximum penalties on the three criminals, rehabilitate the child psychologically and socially, compensate him and his family, and redress the harm they suffered.
