Bombing a Residential House in Mawza District During the Eiddays

On Saturday, April 22, 2023, the official spokesperson for the National Resistance Forces tweet that Ansar Allah (Houthi) forces targeted a civilian home in Al-Majsh Al-Ala village, Mawza district, west of Taiz governorate, killing 3 and injuring 9, most of whom belonged to the same family. According to sources, the attack took place on the second day Eid al-Fitr, while the extended family was gathered for festivities. The Joint Forces on the western coast accused Ansar Allah forces of responsibility, given their control over the area where the house is located. Local media repeated the accusations, but no statements were made by Ansar Allah affiliated forces or independent parties. Control over the territory surrounding the house was divided and actively contested at the time of the attack.
